Meet the Designer

Nepheli Vasiliki Messini was born in Athens and raised in Lefkada, one of the Ionian Islands. 

Growing up she would watch her maternal grandmother sew, who used to be one of the most talented embroiders on the island. In addition, her paternal grandmother was the founder of a private sewing girls-only school in Lefkada during the 50s. Nepheli’s first clothes were made especially for her, by her grandmother Vasiliki, whom she was named after. 
With a background such as hers it was only natural she would follow in the steps of hers ancestors.

Nepheli is a holder of two degrees, BA Fashion Design by Middlesex University and BA Geography by Harokopion University of Athens.

nvmessini style is described as vintage aesthetics with minimal lines.
She aspires to make women feel good about what they are wearing, embrace their beautiful body and conquer the world!

She presented her SS16 Collection at 18th Athens Xclusive Designer Week.
